Day 1 – October 30. Arrival in Mexico City. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 – October 31. Mexico City sightseeing tour. Tour to Teotihuacan. Transfer to Morelia  – 293 km – Morelia.

You will visit the center of Mexico City, you will know everything about Zocalo, National Palace, and works of one of the famous Mexicam painters Diego Rivera. We will walk through the main streer Paseo de Montejo, you will be able to see its numerous monuments and sculptures. Visit of the Museum of Antropology, it is the biggest museum in Mexico.

Visit to Teotihuacan, where you will be amazed by the beautiful constructions and by the mystery kept within the wall of the Pyramid of the Sun, the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the Avenue of the Dead and the buildings surrounding them.

Transfer to Morelia, it is the capital of the state of Michoacan. Night at hotel.

Day 3 – November 1. Morelia city tour. Leisure time at hotel. Night tour  “Day of the Dead on the islands of Mochoacan”.

You will get acquainted with Morelia one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico. People call it “the pink city” because of the color of the walls made ​​of pink stone “cantera”. Leisure at hotel.

After you immerse yourself in the joyful aesthetics of the Day of the Dead. Locals celebrate it most clearly and authentically on the islands of Santa Fe de Laguna, Tzintzuntzan, Janitzio and Patzcuaro. There are communal prayers, serves traditional, sing traditional songs. You will be able to become parties to the ritual, to feel the spirit and essence of the celebration.

Day 4 – November 2. Transfer to Mexico City. Arrival to the hotel. Excursion in Xochimilco and show  “La Llorona”.

Breakfast and transfer to Mexico City. We will show you Xochimilco, the floating gardens called Venice of Mexico. As testament to the site’s historic value, UNESCO declared Xochimilco a Cultural Heritage Site in 1987. During the boat ride, you will see a musical performance La Llorona, about a battle between the Aztecs and the local tribes.

Day 5 – November 3. Transfer to the airport.

Recommendation: This circuit fits well with the beach rest or with the classic circuits.

Option 2. Mexico City – Puebla

Day 3 – November 1. Transfer to Puebla – 132 km – Puebla. 

Breakfast and check out from the hotel. Visit to ancient town Cholula. On the way – small town Atlixco, where locals produce unique colorful carpets, with more than 150,000 flowers of various colors. Arrival to Huaquechul, for watching the show of the Day of the Dead.

Day 4 – November 2.  Puebla city tour, transfer to Mexico City. Excursion in Xochimilco and show  “La Llorona”.

We go through the  main attractions of Puebla, the city known by many names over the years: City of Angels, City of Tiles, a “heroic” city for being the site where Mexican troops’ defeated the French army in 1862 (Battle of Puebla). The city nestled in the middle of Mexico, under the imposing view of the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes. It was also named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.
