Located at Bahía de Banderas on the Mexican Riviera’s Pacific oceanfront, the Resort is set amid 1,500 acres of coastal peninsula; it is a 45-minute drive from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Punta Mita translates to ‘point of the arrow” and this secluded setting takes full advantage of the pristine beach setting and cultural surroundings

ROOMS

Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita features a total of 141 guest rooms (called Casita Rooms) and 32 suites. These spacious accommodations are housed in quaint, tile roofed Mexican-style casitas of one, two and three stories. All guest rooms are furnished in the style of a luxurious Mexican home and fitted with modern conveniences. Each unit features a private terrace or balcony offering breathtaking views of white-sand beaches and natural islands.

Four Seasons Executive Suites (17) – Each has a king-size bedroom with connecting bathroom, spacious sitting room, powder room, private bar and plunge pool.

One-Bedroom Suites (5) – With king-size bedroom and connecting bathroom, plus a large living room, powder room, private bar and plunge pool.

Two-Bedroom Suites (5) – Units include two king-size bedrooms with connecting bathrooms, living room, dining room, powder room, private bar complemented by private terrace and plunge pool. Two of these suites can each be linked with an adjacent guest room to form a three-bedroom unit.

Three-Bedroom Suite (2) – Units include two king-size bedrooms with connecting living room, dining room, powder room, private bar, outdoor shower and plunge pool. An additional bedroom can be connected to create a double casita room.

Arena Suite (1) – the $2.8 million Arena suite offers 13,000 square-feet of living space in a magnificent five bedroom layout that includes a Royal Suite, Four Seasons Executive Suites (17) – Each has a king-size bedroom with connecting bathroom, spacious sitting room, powder room, private bar and plunge pool. $10,000 per night.

Coral Suite (1) – Designed by renowned Mexican Architect Diego Villasenor, named one of the 100 best architects in the world by Architectural Digest, Coral features 9,150 square feet of interior living space and offers endless views of the lapping surf, Mexican sunsets and in-season whale watching. With its own drive-up entrance and parking, this spectacular suite provides unparalleled privacy and exclusive amenities to accommodate even the most discriminating guests. Raising the bar in luxury accommodations, Coral’s unique features include a fitness center, spa area and media room.

FACILITIES

Swimming: The Nuna Pool, Large free-form pool and whirlpool, and white-sand beach.
The Tamai pool complex is an adult-oriented setting that consists of a series of four pools – two main pools, two plunge pools for cabana guests, an oversized Jacuzzi, a full bar, and 10 private cabanas.
The Lazy River at the Oasis complex has a mild current which enables guests to drift around on a variety of floating apparatus including inner tubes, float boards and noodles as the current gently glides them along.

Fitness/Spa Facilities: The Apuana Spa, meaning “stream of water,” is a tranquil setting offering a variety of treatments using regional products. The Spa is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Water Sports: Surf lessons, coral reef snorkeling, sailing, deep-sea fishing, scuba-diving excursions, and non-motorized water vehicles.

RESTAURANTS

Aramara – Signature restaurant with outdoor terrace offers fine Chino Latino cuisine, plus a range of seafood and international dishes. Open for dinner nightly; seats 150. Cocktails and live entertainment can be enjoyed on the terrace bar, overlooking the ocean.

Ketsí Restaurant and Bar – Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered at this casual, open-air restaurant with a traditional thatched Palapa roof; nightly entertainment; seats 80.

Bahia Beach Grill – Named for the Spanish word for “bay,” Bahia enjoys a prime location nestled among giant Manzanilla trees right on the resort’s La Cuevas beach on the Bay of Banderas. Open for lunch and dinner, the grill offers a relaxed atmosphere with a sleek, contemporary design. By day, the restaurant is casual enough for guests just off the beach; at night, it transforms into a casually, elegant venue with an energetic vibe.

Nuna Bar – Specializing in ceviche presented in a quaint, patio setting overlooking the ocean. This fresh dish of marinated seafood in citric juice is a cool, light meal.

Tail of the Whale – Located at the Golf Club House, this is open for breakfast and lunch. A perfect place for a cocktail after a round of golf.
