Majestic Mexico City

Majestic Hotel is a four star, seven story high colonial building with two fronts, to Madero street and the Zocalo square. The lobby is most attractive with a stone fountain and a mixture of glass, bronze, wood and talavera (hand painted tyle from the city of Puebla) in a barroque style. From the mezzanine level there is a five story high atrium.

Our location is in the Zocalo, Mexico City’s main square, where you also find the National Palace, the Metroplitan Cathedral and the City Hall Buildings. Two blocks away from the aztecs grand temple ruins & museum.

RESTAURANTS

The Terraza Restaurant is on the roof-top, it opens from 7:00 a.m. to midnight. It has an inside and outside sitting area with a magnificent view of Mexico’s Zocalo plaza. You can enjoy Mexican and International cuisine with live entertainment everyday during lunch time. Breakfast buffet is served every morning from 7:00 to 11:30 a.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a delicious Mexican luncheon buffet with live Mariachi music from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The Campanario Bar is adjacent to the restaurant and it opens everyday from noon to 2:00 a.m. Live entertainment is presented Monday thru Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m.

The sidewalk cafe with light snacks, beer and wine, facing the Zócalo square from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
