The Explorean Kohunlich

The Explorean Kohunlich features 38 bungalows and 2 cabanas for total privacy, relaxation and tranquility, or enjoying a romantic getaway with your signi cant other. The daily scheduled activities are just a part of the experience you can enjoy throughout your stay. Each one of them has been designed to bring you closer to nature and offer you a deeper understanding of local flora, fauna and culture.

ACCOMODATIONS:

Bungalow: composed by one king size bed or two double ones, reading chair and a fully equipped bathroom. On the outside, it has a small terrace decorated with an outdoor couch, hammock and chairs.

Cabana: room with a king size bed and a living room, a fully equipped bathroom with double sink and a reading chair. The terrace has a small private pool, a double sunbathing chair and a hammock.

Kohunlich
A two-mile bike ride and a pleasant walk through lush tropical vegetation take place and ends at the magic of “Los Mascarones” archaeological site.

Dzibanche
Discover local ora and fauna and the most astonishing Mayan city in the state of Quintana Roo, where structures like the Temple of Lintels (Templo de los Dinteles) and the Temple of the Owl (Templo del Búho) are home to almost a thousand years of history.

Chichan Ha
An excellent opportunity to explore the wild life of the jungle at the Ejido de Caobas’ natural reserve, where the remains of a 16th century Franciscan convent can be found.

Xul Ha
Just an hour away from the hotel, you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking kayak ride through the blue and refreshing waters of the Xul Há cenote and the Bacalar lagoon.

Jade Canal
A trip to the Jade channel is your entry ticket to a rewarding adventure on the Hondo River. Enjoy 3 hours of upstream kayaking through mangroves and colorful ora and fauna. This activity is recommended for those who enjoy exploring the jungle.

Bacalar
Enjoy an adventure in the gorgeous sevencolored lagoon; ride a kayak, enjoy a refreshing swim and nish the evening with a comforting catamaran cruise.
